Went for my first ride of the season today. 50 degrees F, blue skies, beautiful day. Seventy miles of pleasure mixed with a little pain. Somehow I buggered up my right arm just below the shoulder joint a few weeks ago and it's taking forever to heal. But there's a plus to that. On long straights (and there are many of those here) I tend to get sloppy and lean on the bars. The arm complains loudly when I do that and forces me to use my core for support.
I feel for those of you south of the equator, but won't let that interfere with my anticipation of the sun's return. For those keeping track of such things, there were about 180 more minutes of light in Montana skies today than there was on December 21st.

I truly feel for you guys
We don't really have a winter here (unless you call 6C coldest as a winter)
and the only thing that keeps us indoors is rain and EXTREME heat - gets up around 45C in summer and riding is much like Ozztralia - too bloody hot after 9AM and before 3PM.
We often ride at 2AM on "night rides" - 1 no cops 2 roads are clear 3 after 5AM there are plenty of places to have a good brekkie.
It does however get much colder (down to -10 in places) in the highlands, but here it's sub-tropical and we swim year round (even in the sea which never gets down below around 18C)
So I will look forward to hearing all your stories as the Springtime gets closer................
But for me, it's Good Friday, I'm sleeping in.......................![Smile](https://cbrforum.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Enjoy !
