Well, it's been a while but I'm still here. I've been pretty busy with work lately & getting some short neighborhood rides in for back conditioning. Feeling really good after 20 minute rides so far. Can't beat low to mid 70's here in Arizona at this time of year.

I lived in phoenix for 30 years and I do miss the mild temps in winter, but I don't miss the '115 degree stuck in traffic in a black helmet' days when opening your face shield is like opening the oven door!

I can remember thinking in Phoenix it's too cold to ride when the temp was 50 degrees and now 50 is like "hooray! what a great day to ride"!

+1 on HOV lanes though.

 

Thanks guys, it's nice to be back. I am taking it easy still. Short rides, just to stretch my back & spin the wheels.

Never did ride much in the extreme heat (furnace) months since we moved here from Chicago.
