once again I am riding from connecticut to south carolina. I did it last year on my chopper and this year I am doing it on the cbr...I love this bike so much its going to take me the full 2300 miles that I did last year. Im heading out thursday morning nice and early and wont be back for a week. wish me luck and no tickets. :P


and yes......alone.

 

They tell me envy is a sin. I must be a sinner. Sometimes it's the best just to be alone. Gives you time to get to know who you are again. Best of luck & no smokies. Most of all have a great ride.

 

Swisher, if you want a place to crash or a meal (or cold brew), I live in South Central PA. Door is always open to fellow riders (especially the folks here)....
Are you hitting I81? I79? I'm about 10miles off I81. I'm also about 10miles from the Maryland border. Greencastle/Waynesboro area.

I've been thinking about riding up to visit some family up in Erie, PA late this summer. It's maybe 5.5-6hrs in a cage. Should be what... like 20mins on the CBR??

thanks guys...I will take it easy and just enjoy the ride...will try to stay at 70mph if she will let me. looking forward to it. leaving in the morning. and yes...pics are a must.

sorry kilgoretrout...missed the post...thank you for the offer on everything...very cool of you. I might take you up on it on the way back since I am supposed to come back on 81, but on the way back I might have another riding with me...not sure yet. up to you if you mind another guy. we were supposed to go down together, but he left a few days ahead of me this time...all depends on what time I get out of there. need to be back for work wed. morning. toss me a number so I have it on hand when Im rolling through there...and if you guys honestly believed that 70 mph bull ****.....lol...shame on you. I KNOW this thing will at least double that at some point in the trip. lol. I cant get on this bike and not hit at least 115 once....every time I ride it, lol. its addicting.
