Steve, I could go on for hours about dogs. I am most definately a "dog person"...

When I lost my last dog "King".. the Aussie Sheperd (not that we should hold that against him.. lol), I was in bad shape for months. Hell, I still think about him sometimes. Just an unbelievable dog. Best one I've ever had, and I've had several. He was in tune with everything, and unbelievably intelligent.
One time, when I was working on my car (and not paying attention to him), he decided to take the screwdriver I was using and run off with it. I needed it, and he knew it. He ran out into the middle of the yard and stood there with his **** up in the air, screwdriver in his mouth, and tail wagging....staring at me.
It got me to play with him, though.... lol...

Maybe I can cheer you up, steve....

My mom's family were farmers, so I've spent a hell of a lot of time on a farm....
Well, one cold morning, I went out to the barn to get the cows, and as one of the cows stood up, I noticed there was a cat smashed on the floor where he was laying.
I don't think I've ever laughed so hard...

Yep...I'm a dog person....

This is what I had before Spud, her name was Lucy.
She was unbelievable, she adored kids and a snuggle on the sofa but would kill eat then **** on the grave of anything that wandered into "her" garden.
I would recommend an English BT 100%. I cried like a baby when she went ( I had to borrow this pic as I havent got any digital pics of her)
