I bought one of these recently

ASV Inventions Y-Handle Wrench 3 Inch 1/4 Drive | ASV Inventions Tools at Bob's Cycle Supply

They come in 1/4 and 3/8" drives with different lengths on the legs.

Didn't buy it for my shop but use it at work on a machine that I have to disassemble every day. Speeds up the job having 3 sockets on one tool

Great for repetitive tasks

I've really had the urge lately to buy a Dremel to tidy up some of the rust spots etc.
Went up to wifey's Mitre 10 store yesterday, and even with her staff discount, they are still a bit eye-watering.

Anyone got one? would you buy again?

Yes and yes. Also yes some more. if you pick up one of the flex handles it's so much more versatile too.

Don`t got a real Dremel, but have had a bunch of heap copies like Deuzer and others, good for carving inlay holes to fretboards and other wood stuff, but IMO a little too small for metal/rust repairs etc...

Just looking for something to clean up the odd nut and bolt, washer etc. Maybe getting a bit picky in my old age?

I have the GMC version that came in a set with a soldering iron. I have flogged that thing to within an inch of its life and its still going. I pick up the attachments off fleabay from time to time and they work fine. It has come in handy for a lot of things but mainly when I bought some of those aftermarket fairings for my Blackbird. I had to dremel out a few mm on the holes of one of the fairings for it to fit properly. It was worth its weight in gold that day.

You'd have to wonder if the guy operating that thing goes home at the end of the day with a really fierce headache?

If he doesn't; we can only presume that the people that live near power pylons, and constantly whine about all the illnesses caused by EMR (that will of course be cured by a compensatory payment from the power company) are actually just taking the p1ss?
