Con job it is - - this pic was just a link to that lift as an example of an easy
design to construct for use with a floor jack !
I have a lift myself that can hold 2 bikes side by side - so no worries here
But I like the idea of building this one this winter when boredom sets in as
most of my bike mods etc. are nearly complete and it's simple cuts and welds
Reckon 100 dollars of steel would do it
Keeping an eye out for a cheap plasma cutter at the momo

Urge satisfied for the moment.....Bought this today for $60. I thought for that price I'd give it a go. I'm also looking at a blind bearing puller to save belting **** out of everything to get bearings out. Knowing my luck Id start belting and crack the rim or something. Proper tools imo are the way to go.
MITYVAC MOTORCYCLE COOLING SYSTEM PRESSURE TEST KIT Product info JSG Equipment Supplies:
eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home d
UPDATE : I received the radiator pressure tester today and I have to say for the money it looks top quality. I haven't had a chance to try it yet and I wont for a few days but it looks the goods. The wheel bearing puller has just been ordered to. Now to go find sumthin else........

You know the rules Seb, even if it's a double deep 27mm socket, that has no other earthly use than undoing your rear wheel nut, it's all good around here.
Just make sure you're pass worded up enough so your wife can't log in and work out what all those charges are on your Visa bill.

Take a quick guess does my wife know what all those wood working machines cost that I`ve been collecting?
Speaking of tools, I prolly need to get a rear wheel stand this week to replace the rubber bits between the sprocket pack and the rear rim (dunno what they`re called...)

Quick googling looks bout the same, they`re so worn you can wiggle the sprocket when standing still, it`s really uncomfortable to ride in traffic cause it jerks back and forth because of the slack. Already have a new set along with new front brake pads, just haven`t had the time to change them
