Fall - Autumn Clean Up

Mark,
I did the same thing today. Pulled out all my protective pads from jackets and trousers, gave them a good wash and stuffed all the pads back in ready for tomorrow morning.
It's not fall weather here though. We've got some serious overheating issues going on. Indian summer? Ya think?
Anyway, which ever jacket I take in the morning, it's clean. Nice!
Boots? I just wash them wish soapy water, dry and forget. Never had wet feet since I bought them and they don't stink, however much I sweat.
What kind of boots do you wear anyway?

Hey:
+1 on above.
Arm and Hammer baking soda and club soda for me too. Scrub a little club soda in then add the A&H in, then rinse with the club soda and rinse again with reg water till clean, works good for me. You can also do it this way, scrub the area with club soda, and let the area dry. Then sprinkle the area with baking soda, and let it stand. Afterwards, vacuum the baking soda up, this works if it is not very bad. The carbonation seems to help get it clean and rid of all the A&H residue. If they really smell bad use a combination containing 1 quart of 3-percent hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda, and 1 teaspoon liquid soap. Rinse it well, and then air dry them. Trash the remaining unused cleaner. If these boots are really waterproof this should not harm them. Also +1 on the odor eaters if its a big problem also wick away socks help too.
