Dove Guts
Well today I decided to go out for a ride and clear my mind. Drove out in the country and then decided to hit some 2 lane black top roads with little traffic to open her up a bit. I was heading back home and decided to open it up once more and got all the way to 140 and two Doves flew out of a ditch. One hit the left mirror/wind screen. The mirror was bent back into the broken screen and the mirror glass was gone. I had blood and guts all over me. I had just put that new tinted screen on the bike a few weeks ago. I guess I should be happy nothing major happened. Could have been worse if I had got hit by the bird.
Doves/Wood Pigeons are the most stupid birds out there.
Most birds fly away for you, but those stupid ******* just fly right into your path!
I feel your pain Badrhino, I had a perfectly good screen smashed by one a few years ago. Those b4astards still make me nervous when I see 'em sitting on the road.

Thanks. I guess I should not have been going that fast in the first place but you have to stretch a bikes legs once in a while. lol That's what I am always afraid of is animals either flying into me or a say dog running out in the road in front of me at speed.
Yep, riding bikes you have to have eyes in the back of your head!
Though by your Avatar BadRhino, I'd say you have it damn near covered

Cheers, SB
I didn't hit the skunk, but someone ahead of me did.
No damage but a an odor that'll linger under your full face.
Living here in seagull country, I've learned to stop taping french fries to my windscreen.
An ounce of prevention
