I'm thinking kind of like this, but without the Gothic script of course.

Maybe more gold in the graphics, for the whole type 72 Lotus JPS look? But I think that's frowned upon nowadays.

This one's tasty TK - more gold on the frame with a delicate pinstrip on the black paint

OK Woofer, interesting philosophical debate going on in my head now.

Love the Dunstall replica look, but I fear if you attempt to go down that route, you will spend all your time getting bothered by dweebs with leather elbow patches (the Roy Croppers of this world).

They will point out that the red color is two shades off being exactly right, and that the left hand carb inlet boot should be shaped slightly differently and therefore it's obviously not a genuine Dunstall.

Do the "Ton up" thing and people will simply rejoice in the expression of your personality that you have created, and accept it for what it is.

A bit of fun, a bit of being a biker, with your own passions and desires. Just like the original Cafe Racers were.

One of the recent trends in muscle cars is what's known as a resto-mod. Taking a classic 60's muscle car and fitting modern components. EFI cratemotors, tubular front ends, 5 link rear suspensions, large modern disc brakes and such. It's a cool trend, though I don't really like that everyone tries to mount 22" Chip Foos wheels on them

Here's a brutish looking resto mod cafe Honda I like

I also like the look of retaining the stock oil tank

For paint, I'd pass on the common black and gold for the colors of the Welsh flag in honor of my grandmother. Complete with a dragon on the tank

Nice looking ride there with original frame and swingarm. Someone took the time to do the rearsets and relocate the dry sump oil tank. That's one clean bike.

I love the drilled shoe cover, crazy cool stuff.

There are a couple of local Tritons around here. I have seen them in the flesh.

Love the Guzzi! Which way does the crank rotate? Does it corner better left or right?

I rode a Guzzi Le Mans 1000 once and apart from really enjoying it, I remember sitting at the lights and blipping the throttle, and the bike tilting to the right when I did. So I'm guessing it would corner slightly better to the right.

Not something I'm familiar with down here in NZ.

But as always Google Image search came up trumps.

The words "rapper" and "pimp" spring instantly to mind.

But thank you for broadening my knowledge, I can now add another thing to my list of "Things I Wouldn't Pay Fiddy Cent For"
