Christmas Pudding
Wanted to wish all the regulars and the not so regulars a
Not been able to get on here as much as I would like lately , life has taken over a bit what with work , the lead up to Christmas and my sons birthday!
Just trying to ease a huge lump of Christmas pudding past my waist-band , may have to wash it down with a glass of port
Was wondering do we only have Christmas pudding in the UK or do you other guys have it as well?
Well all the best and hope the new year brings you all prosperity , happiness and success!
Very Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, Hawkman Steve!! (and everybody else!)
I've never seen that "Christmas Pudding" stuff. Looks good, though...
Blood sausage? No thanks. LOL..
Speaking of food, though, my sister cooked up some amazing stuff today..... all home-made. Going to her house today was kinda like visiting a real laid back 5 star bed and breakfast. Just unbelievable, really.
For breakfast we had quiche, sausage, and scones with some homemade cranberry jam. Hot spiced cider and coffee.
Then for a snack we had smoked brie on wheat crackers and peanut butter/chocolate covered marshmallows.
For a late lunch, there was pork tenderloin with cranberries and apricots, green beans with bacon, garlic red potatoes, and sweet potato casserole with pecans and brown sugar glaze. Then I had some carrot cake w/ cream cheese icing!
She made us all home-made treats to take home with us, too!! All kinds of candies, jellies, cookies, turkish delights, home roasted ethiopian coffees, etc! That girl can cook!!!
