Default Car Help

I know this is way off topic, I am looking at buying a 2008 Peugeot 407 2.7 twin turbo diesel for my wife. We don't see many European type cars down this far south so I was hoping someone who lives in civilisation may know what they are like and what to look out for. Any advice would be helpful.

Interesting read, thanks shadow, and yeah TK she ain't a bad wife, she is the one who told me to get the bike rebuilt to stop it blowing smoke. As a bonus she likes her work as a school teacher which is good as I retired hurt over 10 years ago and have not found a job since(not really looking either)
