Yep, he's talking about sliders... or shrooms... or "bobbins".. lol..

Blaziken, I've never seen them for this bike. I'd imagine if you really wanted to, you could cut and weld or make a bracket or something.

However, these bikes are designed with protectors that protrude from the upper frame. They are covered by a small plastic "banana" looking cover.

yea yea ,,, i see now,
still i would like to protect them if possible,, there is a top engine bolt in the area that looks like a spot for "frame sliders" .. i was hopein' someone had a mod for it.

its really for thepushing about,& close shaves i'v had moving it about the yard.

if i fell off a 250kilo bike , i can't see sliders helping save anything

Yeah, I'm not sure how much they'd save, either.

I've heard people talk about the where and how on these bikes, but never really found a good solid answer. I thought about it when I first got the bike, too, but then just gave up on the idea.

The built-in ones are much stronger than any frame protectors.
You're more likely to put it down with sliders sticking out, and then you'll do real damage, to your self and the bike.
Sometimes original is better....................

That's what I'd be worried about more than anything...... trying to attach to part of the frame that may not take a 500lb blow without bending or breaking something.
The factory protectors are bowed out pieces of extra frame, welded in 2 places. should be good and strong to take a slow hit.
