Do you find the 1000 heavier in the front or is the 600 also front heavy?

Overall does the 1000 feel heavier than the 600, parking lots and such?

Little more room on the 1000 or about the same?

Like kilgoretrout said, its a lot lighter in the front, and lighter in parking lots, gravel. It is significantly smaller, one of the reasons i got the 1000 so my girlfriend and i could ride two up comfortably, the 600 was just too small for us.
After riding the 1000 the 600 seems like a toy lol. Love the bike so far, my only plans are a 4-1 exhuast and a k&n airfilter.

Default nice bike

Looks great, coincidentally, I've just got one -same year and exact same colours... but not as good condition. Looks like that colour scheme was only for 1995 models.

Soo fella's guess the bike weighs more than it felt, i was parking today at work and was rolling really slow, i decided to cut in really sharp at the last minute and down i went, first bike ive ever dropped, thank god it was just pretty much standing still, but now i have a couple scratches and scuffs to take care off other than that mishap today the bike is everything i was looking for

It's a bit like dancing with a fat lady - when she's moving it's effortless, but when she stops you feel how heavy she is
Bad luck, but good she has those built in crash bars under the plastics
or it'd be a lot worse (ask me how I know)
Also good she didn't land on your leg - MUCH worse

nice bike....i love mine now yes the 1000 is heavier than the 600 but thats to be expected. Mine how ever is very nimble and you can use that front weight to your advantage.

I think most of us have done something similar.

At least the damage doesn't look too bad, could have been a lot worse.

If you let it land on you, you would have less bike repairs to do!
