Anything to do with vid camera mounting on your ride or good info on the subject or vids that exist already online ..
Vids that you have already made also :-)

I have moved a couple of post here as you may notice to loose the jacking in another thread ...

Whent riding some nice twisties the other day in the country, i need to wear down the outer edges of the rear tyre (to much highway riding)

here's a we vid.... Enjoy

Thanks guys, i'm glad you liked it. I'm planning on making a few more of these vids to capture some local rides. I will be changing the camera location though.

Classic, I shot the vid on my wifes digital Camera (if only she new ! he,he). I converted the vid to a 76 MB FLV file @ 720 x 540 pixels. Anything better than 480 x 360 pixels can be watched in the High Quality (HQ) setting on youtube.

fwiw, be carefull mounting your vidcam, I read somewhere that vidcam internals can get a bit rattled when mounted to a bike, something to do with vibrations.

Look forward to posting some more rides

Great vid Mr Chips! If I lived a bit closer I'd have been on your tail , great rout and no traffic for the most part!!

For me , the straits , at best are an opportunity to over-take slower moving traffic and really just the shortest distance between great curves

swisherred, sorry for highjacking your thread.

Classic, no probs.... the camera is actually tucked away inconspicuously inside a small black padded camera pouch resting just below my jacket collar, you can actually see it in the mirror in the vid.

I made a few MacGyver type mods to it with a shoelace & some Velcro (using a pocket knife of course) so it sits securely.

I'm going to try a different set up tho, will tell if successfull.
