Default Anyone ever take a Google Maps virtual vacation?

Out of some other research and a little boredom I started looking at Google Maps the other day. It is completely amazing that I can go to a famous place and when they have the "street view" feature loaded, I can drive down the road, sometimes chase a car, stop anywhere I want, look all around about 30 feet from people's houses, fly straight up to see where I am, land again, drive farther down the road, search to find a local hotel, or vineyard or famous place or restaurant and see just what it's like, take a big old picture of it and keep traveling. Very cool. It's like being a spy or looking in somebody's medicine cabinet. Just tonight, I saw the Pyramids in Egypt, Dubai, Chateau Y'Quem, Monoco, the Isle of Mann, Bath, Wales, Ireland, Scotland, Iceland, Denmark. You can go back to places you've been. (Sure, you can see your own house, but big deal.) It's just unbelievable.

I big monitor helps too. Just FYI. Not bragging.

Question

FYI we had better real time satellite feed back in the 90's. I really do not want to see what Big Brother has now.

If you like Google maps then you should download Google Earth. There you can even see Space....the final frontier. It's cool.

Oh ya, some of you guys should really close your window shades.... I don't need to see that ****. Or at least have your wife on top next time.

Haha!

Yep, Google Map/Earth is very cool. Some of it is pretty outdated, though, from what I've seen. Still cool as hell. I've taken many trips.

Back in the Military days we would have addresses that was passed down from one watch to the other or from friend to friend that the Misses would be outside or curtains open. Also every nude beach had been plotted too.

I have been many places. I have been through the Panama canal and took a trip around Niagara Falls. I have even taken a trip around my neighborhood when it was to cold to go outside.

I also like Vritual Globetrottingbecause of the bird's eye view. You can spin around things like you are in an airplane.
