Tough one. The CBR900RR was seen as completely ballistic/bananas to be put on the street for the time, the RC51 only existed so Honda could destroy Ducati at their own game (and I own one), but in my book the NR750 takes the cake just because it exudes Soichiro Honda's (Honda Soichiro?) renegade attitude and "**** you, we're Honda, we can do what we want" sentiments, imo.

Hey:
Well the CBX, CB1100R, VF1000R and CBR1100XX were all the fastest production street bikes in the world when they were released. Agree on the NR750 Raylee, The RC51, RC45, RC30, CBR1000RR, CB1100R, and the CBR900RR are/were all successful race bikes. They all have something going for them otherwise they would not have made the list.
Here is a few more pics.

When i was a kid seeing a 6 cylinder CBX was special, all shiney & sounded luuuuvley. I think thats why i have a soft spot for the CB 900f as the shape is the same, and for you rockers they were on the back cover of my big brothers Saxon LP.
Also watching Carl Foggarty racing the RC45 on TV was great, But now i have & love my CBR 1000f you can keep the rest.
Great post it will be interesting to see what peoples tastes are.
