88 Cain Rear Bags

OK, I've pretty much given up looking for them anymore. If anyone has a set, could you take a pic of the mount on the bike and on the bag. I'm toying with finding a modern bad and machining a mounting adapter to make it fit. Can anyone help?

Nobody with stock hard side bags? Or camera? Please help, how can I carry the wifes hairdryer on a trip?

Wife's hair dryer

Why would you want your wife's hair dryer when you are on a trip? You can get your own...

A lot of sports bike riders use small back packs. Cheap, no fuss and limits you to not bringing the kitchen sink with you on a motorcycle.

If she brings her hair dryer, have her wear the pack...

I use nelson rigg soft bags on my 88, only used them a couple times but they are great.

Actually, she won't get on the back of this old girl...just hoping to spur on some response. Soft bags would be the easiest but kinda like the look of hte hard bags.

From what I have seen of the soft throw over ones ..they wear the bloody paint away after a while

The mountings on an 87 won't be that different
This is my 90 with kitchen sink................only once or twice a year.

Steve, it is not weird if you are playing bag pipes....

Shadow, with those hard bags, you could probably join up with the full dresser Harley Boys and talk bags....

You just have to learn to cross your arms, place your right hand on your chin and say, "Dems big bags dude."

BTW, all teasing aside, I like the set-up and it was perfect for this thread.... Well done....

When the misses and I went on a week long trip with our Valkyrie, she got the saddle bags and T-bag and I got a pink pillow case that sat on top of the T-bag that was on the rack on back. No chit, it was freaking pink!!! I just used the pink pillow case as an excuse to say I was testing a Clint Eastwood theory - shoot first if you think they are going to say something about your taste in colors!

She could have found a white one!!!
