well I decided I am going to be trying my hands at this. I will have an undertail that will need painting, so why not work on a cowl? I am making a permanent holder in my console for my video ipods. So I am just buying extra material for this project!. I used to work at an audio shop for a few years and we did custom fab all the time, so hopefully it comes out nicely.

I think you guys have inspired me to attempt this on my F4. Has anyone ever tried to make a cowl for the banana seat of an F4???

Funny you should mention that in regards to the F4...cause I was thinking the same thing. Stairstepped seats with two distinct seats are one thing...but im not sure how one would fab a cover for a single piece seat. The big question i guess would be.....how on earth to attach it, the fiberglassing itself shouldnt be all that difficult.

My best guess to attach the cover would be to screw it into the under side of the seat. I have to get a used seat before I try anything. When I do I'll post the progress.
