Default Proton flushmount- **VIDEO**

Installation for proton turn signals, been up all of tonight doing this lugging my computer from my school apartment back to my parents house. What a pain, I finally got it done though.

Nice video, very helpful!

Two questions.

1. Where did you get the resistor and what is the effect?

2. You mentioned "Strobe" but I did not see a strobe effect. I thought that the protons had "Strobe" Fade" and Standard" blink. Is it all in the wiring configuration? Explain please. ^^

1.
The LED Relay that i got was purchased from
http://www.customled.com/PRODUCTS/FL...elay.htm#elfr1
I dont think they have any effect at all on the protons, the reason I got them was to remove the bulky white resistors that come with the Clear Alternatives integrated tail light.

2.
The camera did not show the strobe effect well, however there are a few similar videos on youtube that show the strobe effect correctly. I think my camera is just bad.

If you only hook up the orange wire from the protons you get the standard blink, if you hook up the yellow you get the strobe blink, if you hook them both up you get a fade blink.

Very nice, thanks for the response. What mods are you considering for future tutorial videos?

I want to do some things myself but by the looks of it I am not going to get much done. I'm taking 4 courses over the summer and I'm working full time as well. Going to try to sneak in a few track days between those(Will be at jennings may 12th, almost 100% sure). However every time I do something to the bike something else catches my eye.

Things i plan to do:

Dual low headlight mod
new Rear/front reservoir as well as how to bleed brakes
oil change
How to set up suspension
pazzo levers
woodcraft rearsets
maybe a how to in creating your own knight rider mod
might do some installation things for tripage for his new website

Too many things not enough time, wish I could only sleep like 3 hours a night and get away with it.

meh, those are just ideas in my head right now. The first thing im going to do after the protons is to install my new diablo corsa 3 tires. But im not doing that on my own, going to pay someone to do it for me. Suit/gloves should be coming in as well.
