Hey there niner, sorry for your misfortune. Try posting in The General Tech Section. Good luck...

Patience is a virtue my friend.

for those of you who are interested, there is a connector under the guage that has several greens wires going to it connected kinda like one big wire nut that had a bad wire connections, im assuming it was a ground/common to the ecm for the cluster info. i remade the connection and it works now.

next time i will start with some easier questions like what oil to use or what psi to run my tires...lol

The deal? I'll tell you the deal. GSX-R's have been around since 1986...those guys are like kudzu after 20+ years of buying and fixing Suzukis.

If you'd bothered to query your CBR 929...you would have found out it was only manufactured from '00 to '01. No one with the previous 900 or the following 954 have any idea what big, bad, green wires you're on about.

Check the odds next time before you complain about getting nothing for free. You want tech support, then pay for it.

Yeah, this forum "blows" 'cause you bought a busted POS. I don't think so.
