The house was built in early 60's and I think the door is original. It does not seal at the top like the new ones.

The washer, dryer, and water heater are located in the utility room which is in the basement of the house.

Condensation forms when warm moist air meets cold air. Is the door all wet?

It sure is when it rains. The wind blows most consistently right at it.

Cheapest way to keep yer Bike warm dry,is a "Hospital Blanket", a low wattage light globe left on all night under the bike.
Hasn't done my Bike any harm,i live in the worlds worst climate. With 45+c in Summer & minus 7 *c in Winter.
My bike lives in an uninsulated shed also.

I have the same plight. The garage will and gets extremely cold but actual condensation like water no. the metal will just be cold to the touch. This is my first storage on my first bike as well and I've done a lot of research. I'm going really basic. T-rex stands came in today to keep the weight off the tires. lubing the chain. rubbing light coat of wd40 on all aluminum/metal parts (to be cleaned off in the spring). Balloons stretched over intake and exhaust. full tank with fuel stabilizer and pulling the battery and bringing it in to the house. I was going to change the oil but can see that it's new and really clean so I'll change it in the spring. I just put a light sheet from the bedroom to cover it with because it's breathable fabric and so cats can't scratch it. Cats where getting in during the fall and I borded up the window in the garage so they can't get in but just in case put the bed sheet on it so there little claws can't scratch anything in case they find a way in. That plus alarm locks and chains on the garage door and I'm not worrying about it bro.

I stuff Moth ball bags lightly punctured to let the aroma out around the bike and stuffed in the fairings. Rats hate the stuff and wont come near it and it's cheap to buy.
