So last week I park my bike, everything all good. Yesterday get new can off of IamEli (thanks dude) put it on bike don't start. My fuel pump won't prime. I'm not getting power to but the kill switch seems to work, fuses are good, all I have left to check is the relay. I will probably have done that by the time yins read this. If anybody has a suggestion Superman could use a little help from batman right now. thanks. I know it could be the ecm as well but how do I check?

 

cant you just use your x-ray vision to check all that stuff without tearing the bike apart??

Check the voltage of the battery, make sure it isn't dead. The battery could be too dead to run anything. If that doesn't work, look on a wire diagram and look for point where you can see where you lose power.

 

Finally, someone with some useful info., thanks but, i'm past that point. Hers an update. I'm getting voltage to the pump, I hooked the pump up to the battery directly and it turns, I checked the fuel cut and the engine stop rely, all the fuses are changed, the kill switch seems to be fine, all grounds are cleaned, bank angle sensor is good. All I have left is to check ECM and Bank Angle again. I can't figure it out and after all that theres not much left.
