Like the topic states, who's using M1 4T and has anyone run analysis?
Thefactory recommended oil change intervals seems incredibly long for any oil considering the service. I'm planning ahead for my next service on my 1kRR since I ride "severe" conditions (short trips, stop-go, et c.). For run-in service I used the Honda Pro GN4 non-synth, but I've seen the amazing protection M1 provides in my cars and in race engines. If anyone's got technical info (I'm a ChemE), I'm all ears.

I want to, but cant seem to ever get it. cyclegear cant keep it in stock, even at over $10qt

 

Autozone carries it for $8 a quart.

 

Got it in my baby right now. Really only becauseI founda quart of it in the pillon seat compartment when I bought my bike so I figured thats what it had been on.

I'm an EE so no chemical analysis for you, butif you need an analysis for an integrated circuit or an active electronic device I'm yourguy.

 

Analysis isn't necessary (lol), just testing the waters if M1 4T use is widespread. I know it's expensive and I can find it at Autozone, I just wanted to know if anyone's got more info than marketing BS on mobil's website.

 

I have been using it way back when it came in a different bottle that said MX4T. Dont really know why they added "racing" to the bottle anyway.
