Default Where to Find a DIY on Carb Cleaning?

I am a motorcycle tech n00b. I need to clean my Carbs. Is there a Do-It-Yourself link with pictures anywhere on the internet to help me with this process?
Thanks in advance

do a search on this forum for cbr manual.
Everyhing you need to know is in it.
Cleaning carbs ia a piece of cake.
The hatdest part is taken them off the bike...
No reason why everyone shouldnt be doing it themself.

That's good to know that it might be more simple than I thought. Bike shop wants $300+ to do it. When I searched I was a bit overwhelmed. Does anyone have a link to a good informative post?

OK, how do you get the whole carburetor assembly off? Im following the directions in the manual, it says that once you get the top off, disconnect chocke cable, unscrew/loosen the 4 clamps holding 4 carbs to the engine block.
I loosend them and the whole piece will not come out! There is about a 1/8 inch of play when I rock the carb assemply back and forth. Feels like there is a bolt holding it. Cuold it be that varnish has them seized?

Inline 4 carbs take a bit of prying, muscle, and patience to get off.

The best way I have found is to slowly work them loose on one side, then a little on the other.

(This is once you are sure you have disconnected all the cables, clamps, etc.)

Just be patient with getting them off...don't get in a hurry an start hammering on them with a ball peen and a screwdriver.!!!

Rock them back and forth, front to back, (up and down) and side to side...using a little spray lube where you can, (WD-40 won't hurt).

You might try this also in warmer weather as the rubber boots holding the carbs to the back of the engine get a bit more pliable as they are warmed.

Thanks for your help. I didnt want to force anything. I used a pry-bar and gave slight nudges on each side against the frame and was able to get them off. *whew*

Now Im trying to get off the float(s) so i can clean all the varnish off. How do you remove that little pin holding it in there? lol
