Hi I'm new here. I'm a Aprilia rider so I'm kinda Honda dumb! How hard is it to do a fork conversion from a 1000 to a 600 07 cbr? I'm trying to help my friend put a Ohlins on his bike. I see that they make a ohlins for a 1000 but not for the 600. He has a 07 cbr 600rr could I take the triple clamps top and bottom from a 07 1000 cbr and put it on his bike? If i could do that I can put a 43mm fork on it. Do any of you guys know if the pin,rod that go's threw the frame is the same size?[/align]

Go to
www.mrcycles.com and compare the part no's - if they are the same, you have your answer.
Download both works manuals from my siggy if you like - they may have more detail.
(hope there's an 07 in there)![Smile](https://cbrforum.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)

The parts # will be different cuz the 1000 has a 43mm fork hole in it. I would like to know if the post that go's threw the frame is the same size? The lower clamp and threaded bolt are 1 part right? I'm thinking and according to Ohlins this is the same size it's the holes where the forks go threw that are different sizes
