Default What Motor OIl?

Well its that time of year up here in VT. I gotta change the oil & filter on 2 bikes. Really don't want to go to the Honda shop & pay big bucks for oil & filters. Has anyone done any research on this? Is there a cheaper alternative? Any positive comments appreciated.

You don't have to buy Honda oil and filters from your local Honda dealer. I buy mine online and pay around $5/qt for the GN4 oil, delivered to my front door and around $7.50 for OEM oil filters. Google search.

I use the Rotella T and a Walmart filter. Well, on my old bike, anyway. I've only changed my oil once on my F4i, and since I got a K&N for free when I bought the bike I used that.

I'm sure you'll love it asides.

Go with the Rotella and use this LINK for filter info.

Advanced Auto has filters for $6 and carries Rotella T oil.

Be careful if you use aftermarket filters or oil. On another forum a member was recently turned down for warranty service because he had an aftermarket oil fiter on his bike. I always stick with Honda stuff and keep the receipts.
