What is the "Location Light" for on the center front?

Default What is the "Location Light" for on the center front?

I'm pretty sure that is what it is called in the manual. I'm not sure when this is supposed to come on, or even what it's for? It is the small center light in middle on my front fairing???

Yep, it's the light in the middle of the front upper fairing. Pretty much, it's used as a sidemarker light. You can see it from both the left and right of the bike (on 600 and 1000RR's anyway)

are you talking about the light right above your headlights?
thats a running light, it should always be on. its probably just a blown bulb. they are 194's , i just put a red one on mine. We have the same bikes as well. same paint and all
