Default What engines best fit 2001 F4i frame?

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to through this out there I have done a lot of work to my bike over the winter and I love this bike and don't want to get rid of it because of the value it holds to me but I do want to look into doing a engine swap for a bigger one.

Does anyone out there know what Honda engine might be the least amount of fabrication?

the f4i is a much better bike than 900rr. Keep the f4i and buy yourself a 929 or 954 or even a 1krr

f4i - fuel injected
900rr - older and carb'd
kinda self explanatory here...

Something wrong w/ a carbed bike besides the fact a 900rr will smoke the fairings off an f4!! He's lookin for more power w/least moddin. Not gonna happen!!! If u can afford 2 do so keep ur f4 and buy another bigger bike not many peeps can afford 2 bikes these days if not sell f4 use $ towards newer larger bike!

Theres a very large difference between an f4 and f4i....im not saying the motor out of an f4i is breaking and spped records, im just saying id much rather have a fuel injected bike to a carb'd one... thats the equivalent to preferring disc brakes to drums.
