Well, after 11,000 miles and who know how many wheelies, one of my fork seals finally went. Noticed the front left fork had oil leaking---yippee. Lol honestly surprised it didn't happen sooner.

Anyways, just wonderin how much somethin like this is to fix? Can it be done in the garage? How bad of an idea is it to continue riding with it how it is?

I would just take it to a garage and have them do it. It cost me around $100 On my bike. If you dont get it fixed right away it will get worse and your break pads will start getting oily and you will start to notice that. My pads and rotors got pretty slick. Not too safe.

 

If you have a decent manual, the tools needed, and are somewhat mechanically astute installing seals isn't a real tough job.
