I recently replaced my coolant in my f3 with Engine Ice. According to the label on the bottle it is premixed and uses deionized water. It is recommended on the bottle that you do not mix with water. (Don't know about mixing ainti-freeze in with the engine ice) straight from the bottle it should protect to 246 degrees F. Freeze protection -46 F. It was tested in southern Florida and is said to reduce engine temp by 50degrees F. I have noticed that my engine runs pretty cool; but here in New Jersey we have not had any real hot weather yet.

I'm running water wetter with BMW premixed 50/50 antifreeze.
Bimmers are my preferred brand of car, but they have notoriously weak cooling systems. They are particular about requiring special coolants that won't corrode the aluminum components in the engine and cooling systems. So, since the BMW brand of coolant is OK for the cars, and I have it on hand, I also use it in the bike.
