In all seriousness - what are you looking for? If the bike has a title and the vin matches the title, you're good.

If you're buying a bike without a title, you're probably going to have a nightmare getting it in your name.

Your state police should be able to run a VIN for you and tell you if it is listed as stolen or something. I'm assuming you're afraid of this and are trying to avoid that, right?

Do you americans have UVIP's?
Used Vehicle Information Package.
The seller has to pick it up and sign it with the sale to register the bike at the MTO.
It has lien info, every registered owner, accident reports.
