Default use new front caliper mount bolts?

Do you guys replace the mounting bolts on the front calipers (F4i) everytime you
remove the them?
The manual says to replace them, so I think thats what
I'm gonna do, dont want to doubt my brakes.

but, I have heard a few poeple say just to use locktite and all will be good?

opinions?

i just use locktite on mine but you have to be careful how much you apply cause if you use too much it will be a pain to get them off the next time you gotta change it.

I replace mine before every season, but then again mine go in and out about 15-20 time as season. I do closely inspect mine each time before I put them back in. Look for issues with the threads.

I wouldn't worry about changing them. But definitely torque them to spec listed in the service manual and use blue (med strength) loctite. Or if you really want to make sure they never come off you can safety-wire them Like i do on all my bikes.

I saw that too in the manual the first time I pulled the wheel off. I just used some loctite and put the originals back in everytime since then. I don't know why they suggest new, because they aren't torqued to an extreme amount or anything so the threads aren't stressed. My only guess is that the new caliper bolts already come with loctite on them and are ready to go.
