Default TYRES

I KNOW ITS SPELT WRONG BUT I LIVE IN CORNWALL NEAR ENGLAND .ANYWAY I AM TRYING TO GET AN OLD CBR THROUGH AN MOT CHEAPLY. THE BACK TYRE IS A BRAND NEW BRIDGESTONE BATTLEAXE THE FRONT IS AN MOT FAILURE I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW AVON TYRE OFF EBAY FOR £10 (A BARGAIN) AND ALL MY MATES SAY I SHOULD BIN IT AND BUY A BRIDGESTONE FOR THE FRONT!!!

ARE MIXED TYRES A NO NO ? OR IS IT A MITH ? STUART

Mixed tires usually are a no no because one has more grip then the other instead of even grip.

not only that, but there is always a reason that somthing is sold for that much of a discount. the tire is probably an old one or something

Mixed tires are a no no especially when you have a stickier rear than the front. The profiles are going to be different as well. The combo you are trying to put together is exactly that.
