Trouble w/Light'N Boltz...
Need some advice on how I'm screwing this up. I paid the d@mn money for those "Light'n Boltz" to be used on my license plate mount after getting rid of the factory fender. (I couldn't find any cheaper versions at the auto parts stores.) I've already installed an integrated tail light that works perfect as well as everything else on the bike. The last thing I had left to do was to wire the "Light'N Boltz" to the original plate light wires. I cut the factory plate light wires the same way I cut the left and right turn signal wires...yet I can't get the "Light'N Boltz" to light up when I splice them in.
They seem to be 12v lights that I can probably just run straight off the battery. However, I'd rather make use of the original license plate light wires. Has anyone tried these? Do I maybe just have a bad set?

RE: Trouble w/Light'N Boltz...
MAke sure your positive is to positive and so forth. I hooked up leds to mine and thats all I did (LEDS, it doesnt matter though). If you still have your turns off, try hooking up the bolts to them to see if they work. If you are running both lights into the single wire, it should still be fine. I dont really know why they wouldnt be working unless you did get a bad set.
You can also check by just taking wires and putting them on the bolts and just putting them directly to the battery. IF the works. You can just do that too. Know what I mean????
