Default Track bike conversion to ride bike

Good morning all!
so I’ve got a 2004 CBR 600RR that has been converted to a track bike (no ignition barrel), the bike is all legit, all checks done and so on, however it is road legal now with headlights etc etc.
I want to put an ignition barrel back into the bike for obvious reasons!
has anyone either converted a bike to track or from track to road? If so can I know the process so I can reverse engineer it? I’m located in Maidstone, Kent, UK equally if anyone is willing to give me a hand I’ve got a garage and a kettle/ beer !

Good morning and welcome to the forum.
Great looking bike, I do really like like the Repsol colours.

I personally have no experience with this.

Is there anyone from where you bought it that can tell you how they bypassed the ignition and i'm sure it will have involved butchering (nicely) the harness to achieve it, you can then go from there.

The other option would be an new harness, then it would be plug and play. Not sure if you might get away with just replacing the sub harness, once again comes down to how the bypass was done.

Thanks! Yeah very nice colours, don’t see many about either!
so I will try get some photos ASAP but the harness doesn’t seem to be butchered in the standard fashion! I assume some bypass somewhere has been done sadly the previous owner wasn’t the one who done it and trying to get info is near impossible!

I looked at getting a new loom of this one was butchered but I’ve got a good feeling, I feel like it’s just missing a couple of things, immobiliser maybe? Ignition barrel obviously haha! And I’m not sure what els. Weird how there is so little information on doing the conversion about?

I can see the lack of info being down to preventing ******* from nicking them lol.
Might be worth a call to a local bike racing group at you nearest track to see if they have any info as they were quite a popular bike for converting.

Give these guys a call, they have an ignition set from a bike converted for the track....they should be able to advise on how to reverse engineer the race bike fit.
