Default Torque value for handlebars?? Or how to take off handlebars??

In the middle of putting on helibars on the F4i but cant get the old handlebars off...so going to call company tomorrow to see what the deal is. But in trouble cause want to take bike to work in the AM. I currently have the controls off but cant get the handlebars off. Does anyone know the values to get the handlebars back on correctly/tightly? Or know how to get old handle bars off so i can get the helibars on??

PS Is there a difference with the handlebars from a '04 to an '05?? I have the '05 and directions say these bars fit from 01-04. But i though the f4i havent changed from 04 to 05?

My 600RR manual says to torque 03-04 handlebar pinch bolts to 17 lbf-ft. After 04 20 lbf-ft. I would go with the 17 lbf-ft on your F4i. It will be tight enough to get you buy until you resolve your helibar issue and not to tight where you might damage the threads.
