Default too old for full synthetic

I have a kawasaki 2006 650r with 19k miles and have run only regular oil from the dealer(dealer maintained). Is it too late to change to full synthetic?I'm also getting a 929 that supposedly has used HP4, that should be ok.

I know in cars its a no no to change to full synthetic after soo many miles. I once changed the oil on an older car that I had when I was younger with 190k miles with full synthetic and oil leaked all over the place...needless to say that car died right after reaching 200k(91 mitsubishi eclipse gsx)
