I'm new to the CBR, and this forum for that matter but I think the stock tyres on my CBR FS are Bridgestone 010s, the new version, the 014 are very popular in the UK (ranked 4th in a recent survey of 38 tyres, the diablo and diablo corsa coming in top)

of the tires listed, i have only used the pilot power and D208s and the D208s were on the vfr not the cbr. i do like the pilot powers a lot but was also happy with the d208s. i do plan to try the qualifiers sometimes in the future. i have about 1700 miles on the pilot powers and look to have about another 1000 left (i hope).

i have 208s and got about 4500 miles on my rear tire(wires showing). How long do the front tires usaly last? i talked to a couple older bike people around town and they said the rule of thumb is you go threw 2 rear tires for every front tire. but i'm sure the've never had 208's.
so i just orderd the mpp from ronayers 190/50/17 for 160 shipped.. hopefully its as good as everyone is saying.

edit.. if the 208's are rated at 160mph.. what are the pilot powers rated at?

i have a bike salvage place that sells me 2 metzler M1's mounted and balance(bring them just the wheels, not the bike) for $220, you can't beat that. I don't think your gonna notice much of a difference between any of those tires unless you are in the rain or the race track. My M1's have about 3,000 miles and the back one in the middle is starting to show some wear. They get real hot/sticky when you use them good
