TIRE FAILURE?
Agghhh!! I ACCIDENTALLYrode two-up (300lbs total) for about 4-5 miles with my tires set at 32frt/34rear (foraggresive one-upriding). Will the excessive heat/pressure I caused damage to the tires' carcass and make them unsafe? Also any reccomendations on pressures forhard street riding... Thanks

RE: TIRE FAILURE?
Ah, bike tech paranoia, Best you have lost some sleep worrying about it as well, tyre walls are pretty flexable, friction = heat. Tyres a designed to wear to maintain their adhesion. A lot of guys I ride with always run their tyres a few pounds under wots recommended. They believe (and who am I to disagree) that the extra contact on the road, lets the tyre reach its optimal heat range faster. I had to ride with a really flat rear tyre for more miles than you have, and once it was repaired it was fine, no damage to the side walls. I would have been more worried about bottoming out the rear shocks.
