Default Time for some maintnance

Well, i'm rolling up on 16k miles, and it's time to do some maintnance. I'm gonna change the air filter and change the plugs. Ofcourse I did an oil change, filter change, and lubed the chain. Have you guys replaced anything else around the 15k-20k mile mark? Over the winter I probably should go into a more major overhaul. What do you recomend for my winter project (suspension/enginer/etc?) Just trying to see what I'm looking at getting into over the summer, and whether I should hold of on the filter and plugs until then anyway.

btw, as far as i know filters, plugs, etc are still original.

it's actually throttle body sync...need some guages for that or you can home make it.
basically, over time, the pressure in each TB will be off, so you sync it so they are all at same pressure during idle. makes the bike smooth!

as far as fork oil, get the manual, you just need a way to prop up the bike, take off the fork, open them dump out old and in new, but make sure you use the exact amount on both sides...

i'm totally simplifying this so look up the shop manual.

Let me help you out, Tahoe:

Throttle Body Sync
Valve check

I would also recommend:

Radiator Flush
Replace brake fluids (not just top off) if you haven't done this at 12k miles

You've talked about the fork oil but don't forget that the rear shock also needs to be serviced too.
