Default Them dogbones...Update

Does anybody know if there is any difference between the 04-05 1000rr dogbone and the same year 600rr dogbone? The U shaped dogbone that is? I did some searching and found one guy on another forum that said it will bolt right up to the 600rr but I can't find any info on the length of the stock 1000rr dogbone?

Yeah I guess i'm my own guinea pig lol. The 600rr link is 7.25" so if the 1000rr is 6 3/4"- 7" then that makes a cheap jack up kit for anyone with the 600rr or f4i w/600rr swinger attached. I want mine to sit higher so I cut my 600rr link down to 6 1/4" but should've done 6 3/4" - 7" cause the tail is too high. So now i'm replacing that with a 1000rr link that no one seems to have a measurement for..at least that I can find. Whats interesting is all the lowering links are made for both 600 and 1000 which makes me think the links are the same. Either way i'll post up my results here for future reference.

Okay I have both 600rr and 1000rr dogbones ( the U shaped 03-06 ) and the results are as follows- the OEM 600rr link I have is 7.25" eye to eye and the 1000rr is 7" eye to eye so the 1000rr link will raise the 600rr 1/4" at the dogbone. The 600rr link will work as a lowering link on the 1000rr with a 1/4" drop at the dogbone. Nice and cheap too, $16.00 for the 1000rr link - a jack up kit for the 600rr costs around $180-$200 for a machined link like that so this saved me alot of money. Not sure what seat height will change to, I haven't swapped in the 1000rr link yet but I will post the results here.
