hey guys

kind of urgent

I have a 2000 F4

the PO of my bike wired in an integrated tail light but mangled the wiring when he did it. i ordered a new tail light harness and took apart my tail. now i cant figure out where the harness plugs in.

I just want to pull the entire harness and wire in the new one but i dont know where the large grey plug on the tail light harness plugs into. If i figure that out i can figure out all the other lights. any help?

Im sure once you post pictures of both ends of the harness and the tail light me and dagon can point you in the right direction. Its pretty easy you should have4 grounds a lead for each blinker, your tail light, and license plate light.. just a matter of what plugs into where bud

Ok guys this is the picture of the harness and the grey piece I cant figure out. I know the two short clips are the tail light bulbs. The other clips are blinkers, and the license plate light. After that I dont know what goes where and I dont know where the Grey piece goes...I figure if you guys can help me figure that out ill be good to go.

 

and for the record i have the stock headlight right now and an integrated light on the way. i just want to get this harness wired up right before i mess with anything else.

 

Tail light or head light? What are we talking about and what's on the other end of the gray plug that's something I haven't seen before

 

if I had to guess, the grey plug is what plugs into whatever integrated taillight the PO had installed?

Would help if you posted a complete pic of all the wiring in one frame.

 

Sorry guys. To clarify its the tail light. That wiring harness is the one that I just bought.

The grey plug is on one end and on the other end is the two plugs for the blinkers, the two plugs for the tail light bulbs on the stock headlight, and the license plate bulb. Also there are a few other wires that I dont know what they go to.

I just need to figure out where the grey plug goes. Do I have the wrong tail light harness?
