Default sync by ear

Ok so i dont have a sync tool so i got the bike running and just turned all sync screws all the way in and backed them all out 2.5 turns then slowly turned one at a time in and out til the rpms stopped jumping. Not sure how close it is to being fixed. But it sounded a lot nicer and the rpms jumped up to redline and dropped back with no hesitation thay i could see

Are you asking about it?

"The secret is to stick the hose in your ear, not just up to it, The pitch doesn't change when the carbs are close to balanced, it's more the volume that changes. You will be able to hear better than the camera was able to hear in this video. The zoom shot shows the adjusting screw on the rear carb."
