Default Swingarm?

Im in the process of polishing my swingarm but.... how do you get it off? ive already removed the rear tireand the pin that holds the swingarm and the shock so what else? ive pulled,pushed,wiggled but it doesnt budge!!! so any info on this would be really appreciated. oo by the way my bike is an 00 f4.[:@]

well after searching the past forums for 2 hours i finally found out that you need a special honda tool!! But now i cant find out were to by the tool from[:@][:@][:@]

hey, any modifcation your doing to your bike is going to have their road blocks.. you might think it's a easy fix or a mod but it's never like that haha.. good luck polishing, take some pics...

I was going to take my swing arm off but I think I will wait untill you figure it out. I just finished polishing my rims, rear sets and passenger pegs. The swing arm and frame is next. Let me know how it goes.

alright instead of spending about $45 on that special tool I made my own!! really simple if you have a disc grinder or dremel tool.and it worked perfect to get that weird nut out after that unscrewed the threaded bolt and walah the swingarm is offas soon as i get finished polishing it ill post some pics!!

liketysplit....i'm polishing my frame now....and i will be getting to the swingarm in a day or two...i have a 2000 cbr600....what type of tool did you make to get the swingarm bolt off? any help would be appreciated

here is where u can get the tool. i had to buy it to so i could change my swingarm. the one that was on the bike when i bought it had a dent in it so i got a new one off ebay the part # is Part #: HO-4756433

that weird 4 prong nut that is over that threaded bolt!! thats the one!! I just lined up a n old 30mm socket to the nut used a black sharpie to mark it and grabbed my disc grinder,and grinded it to fit that SPECIAL nut,if I can find out what I did with my batteries for the camera ill post some pics of it
