Default Swapping a slipon that requires larger diameter

Someone on craigslist is selling a yoshimura rs3 can for only 50 bucks near by, the mid pipe will have to be replaced and Im sure its not a f3 like mine. The mid pipe diameter is 2 3/8" inches in diameter. I believe a f3 has a 2 inch collector on the stock exhaust.

Is it ok for me to adapt and use a larger slipon assuming I jet it properly. I just want to make sure that its POSSIBLE I could even jet it and would have too little back pressure.

Also, Ive been looking at some aftermarket headers on ebay, they will all have the same diameter as well right?

thanks!
