Stutters and stalls all of a sudden?
Right after I got my tires replaced at the local Yamaha/Suzuki dealership, I puttered around for 50 miles, never getting over 6K RPM, to wear in the tires a bit. Towards the end of my ride the bike sputters and hesitates, and the FI light comes on and off. I am paranoid the dealership did something to my bike because I was riding on the same tank of gas the last few days with no issues, and I get my gas at the same place so I don't think it was bad gas. Just to be sure, I filled up with 92 octane (and some fuel injector cleaner) at another station and after 15 minutes of riding the next day, I get the sputter again. The next day it gets worse. After a 10 minutes it sputters and stalls. But it idles fine? Do you think puttering around fouled something? Is it foul play from the dealership?
I ride a 2002 F4i with a Two Brothers slip on. It only has 6200 miles and ran great up until the tires were replaced, with the exception of the rattling CCT. Thanks.

RE: Stutters and stalls all of a sudden?
I asked a friend about this issue and he said it may be electrical, so I inspected the bike this weekend. No frayed wires, no loose connections. But I take the battery out every winter and I think I must have torqued the positive terminal too much because it was sticking up a bit. I hammeredthe terminal back into place on the battery and carefully connected the leads. I took it out for over two hours without a burp. Problem solved.
