i would personally recommend those no name brands they have on ebay. its cheap and gets the job done. I bought one and its not pretty to look at but its been working fine. worried about fit? thats what spools are for!

The trick with the front LP stands is this: always put a soft rag on the front fender to keep it from getting scratched then actually lift up a little on the nose piece and, voila, it'll work.
