my 01 f4i has been having an intermitten read out. i can't seem to find a common condition
to when it does it. sometime it won't do it at all. when it does it will just be for a short time.
so far it will only occur one time while i am riding, and the time with out the read out will
be miniminal. any suggestions?
where do i look for a connection.

What read out problems are you having?Iown a 94 so I'mnot familiar with digital read out, but you might want to remove your upper fairings and check under the instrument cluster to see if anything is loose. tighten or plug in anything that might be coming undone.I had a problem with myspeedometer once and i realized that the cable had come unscrewed.

Check for either a fulty speed sensor or a loose connection o at the speed sensor. Its on the back side of the engine at the top of the tranny
