Default Speedo fault

Hi people I have a 1998 cbr900 rr fireblade and the Speedo is 10 mph fast. How do I fix the problem please? Cheers john

The gearing might be changed, makes it faster but throws off the speedometer.
I dont thing they make a speedo healer for the 900rr, but you can put the gearing back to stock if it bothers you.

I put an uprated chain and sprockets on it but it was for the 900rr so should be the same size right?

As the old saying goes 'it depends'.
The chain should be OK, but you need to check the number of teeth on the sprockets and compare back to standard.
If they are different, then that is the reason for the speedo error.

I did buy a standard chain all be it a uprated one. So I’m guessing it’s standard number of teeth cheers
