hello why is it so hard to get honda parts in uk i need a alternator damper for a cbr1000fk ,tried local dealer "thats on back order mate 6 weeks" david silver and cms the same sort of story , then i went to mr cycles in nashville "i can get that shipped to you for next week" why is it that it can come from america in a week and honda uk cant get me the part for six weeks very strange and very anoying . buy the way the part was cheaper posted from mr cycles than local dealer before V.A.T ??????????? thanks everyone gary

I don't know. However, I've been known to order bicycle tires and other things from overseas and shipped to me in the US because the the total cost delivered to my door for the exact same item is cheaper than what I can buy it for locally or even any US mail order source.

Even here in good ol Oz .... the SOME parts a rare and expensive .... and quite a few Ozzies here that I know of order everything from tires to parts cheaper from OS .... GO figure
